This sealing ring sits on top of your steering box and keeps the grease where it belongs: inside. If you notice the steering box starting to leak or you see grease around the top - this part is likely worn. The original part number 211 415 277 fits T2a and T2b models perfectly. Combine this with a new lower ring for a complete seal of your steering box.
