This locking plate securely holds the steering rod flange in place and prevents your power steering from coming loose. OEM number 111 415 543 fits T1 and Karmann Ghias and is an essential part of your steering column assembly. Replace it preventively if you are rebuilding your steering - as a loose plate can become rusty and difficult to disassemble. Combine this with a new steering rod flange and locking screw for a complete steering column refresh.
