This nut (OEM 111 405 672) holds your right spindle in place and is essential for a safe wheel suspension on your T1 or Karmann Ghia. This is an original profile that you should not simply replace with something else, so make sure you have the correct one for repairs to your front end. Combine this with the left-hand nut and a set of new wheel bearing discs for a complete overhaul.
