This seal keeps the grease in your front wheel bearing where it belongs - preventing water and dirt from entering. It fits T2a models with brake drums from '63-'67 that you're installing on a later engine from '68-'70 - OEM number 211 405 641C. Always replace it simultaneously with the bearing itself and fresh grease. Combine this with a complete wheel bearing kit for a proper job.
