This hub cap is located on the left spindle of your front suspension and protects the grease around the pivot point. It can start leaking or get scratched after years of use - which can easily lead to dry bearings. With OEM number 211 405 691 - you're good to go: this is the original VW version that fits perfectly. Combine it with a new right hub cap and a fresh pot of lubricant for a complete lining.
