This inner wheel bearing sits in the front of your Beetle - KG or Type 3 and - together with the outer bearing - supports the weight of your car. After years of driving - the ball bearings wear out - and you'll hear rattling noises - especially in turns. The original BBT bearing 311 405 625A is a good replacement and will last a long time if properly greased and maintained. Combine this with the outer bearing and the sealing ring for a complete front axle overhaul.
