This is the inner front wheel bearing, the replacement part that keeps the wheel rotating and absorbs the load. The OEM number 311 405 625 is located in the front hub of your Beetle or Karmann Ghia and, like any bearing, wears out after years of use, resulting in play or rollers that no longer turn smoothly. Always replace this part in combination with the outer bearing and the hub seat, otherwise, you will quickly get play again. Combine this with clean grease and a new hub cap for a complete and durable result.
