This wheel bearing is located at the front of your T1 or Karmann Ghia and plays an essential role in the suspension system by allowing the wheel axle to rotate smoothly. This refers to both the inner and outer bearings (OEM 111 405 627) - which together ensure stable and safe road holding. After years - these bearings can wear out - which manifests as play or noise while driving. Combine this with new seals and possibly a new wheel hub for a complete front axle service.
