This lower kingpin with needle bearing (OEM 211 405 365B) is part of your front suspension and ensures that your front axle turns and steers smoothly. The needle bearing reduces play and wear - keeping your steering feel sharp and your wheels perfectly aligned. Replace this part when you feel play in your steering system or when you disassemble the front axle for maintenance. Combine this with a new upper kingpin and your front axle will be as good as new.
