The kingpin bushing creates play between the kingpin and the steering system of your bus. Due to wear, this bushing becomes thinner, resulting in poor steering feel and unnecessary play in the front end. This replacement part (OEM 211 405 317B) restores that firm, direct steering feel characteristic of a well-maintained T1. Please combine this with a new kingpin itself for a complete restoration of your steering system.
