This suspension ball joint (OEM 133 407 361) connects your steering arm to the wheel carrier and is crucial for a safe wheel suspension. The two-bolt mounting makes replacement straightforward on a Beetle and T1 - as long as you properly adjust the camber settings afterward. A worn ball joint immediately feels like play in the steering - so replace it along with its opposite counterpart on the other side. Combine this with a steering axle bearing and damper blocks for a complete overhaul of your front suspension.
