The lower suspension ball joint (OEM 251 407 187) is essential for a sturdy front wheel arch and direct steering feel on your T3. This ball joint connects the steering knuckle to the wheel upright and ensures smooth vertical movement without play. After years of wear - the freedom of movement decreases - and you may notice that the car feels looser in corners. Combine this with a new upper ball joint and possibly new steering play for a fresh chassis feel.
