For Beetles and T1s and Karmann Ghias - this is a classic wear part that develops play over mileage and temperature changes. Always check it if you notice that the steering wheel feels unstable or the tires wear unevenly. Combine this with the left tie rod and tie rod ends for a complete steering refresh.
