This ball joint with a large taper and left-hand thread fits the front left of your T2 - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - and Type 181. The OEM number 311 415 811C ensures you have the exact correct part for proper wheel alignment. Always replace both ball joints simultaneously for balanced handling. Combine this with the matching right-hand ball joint and a set of new nuts and cotter pins.
