This 42mm rubber bushing is located in your shock absorber and provides damping and stability in the suspension system. After decades - this bushing hardens and starts to move within its housing - which you'll feel as play in the suspension and poorer steering feel. VintageDub supplies the replacement part (211 413 371) that fits all classic VW models from the T1 onwards. Combine this bushing with a complete shock absorber overhaul kit for optimal results.
