This anchor plate sits behind your left rear brake drum and holds the brake shoes in place. Without this plate - your braking system cannot function properly. This is the replacement part (113 609 439C) you need for T1 and Karmann Ghia. Combine this with a set of new brake shoes and a fresh drum set for a complete rear braking system.
