This rear left backing plate sits between your brake drum and the rear wheel - holding everything in place. If your brakes start to wobble or you feel play in your rear axle - this part is often the culprit. BBT supplies a sturdy forged version (OEM 113 609 439B) that adheres to the original specifications. Combine this with new brake shoes and a wheel cylinder for a complete rear axle revamp.
