This anchor plate sits behind your brake disc and prevents your brake caliper from rubbing against the wheel assembly. For the T1 and Karmann Ghia - this model (113 609 139B) is the correct choice - although there is little difference with other Beetle years. For certainty - check your current plate - because rust and bending make replacement necessary. Perfect time to order your brake pads and discs at the same time.
