This dust shield (OEM 211 405 594A) prevents dirt and moisture from directly contacting your brake disc. For T2a and T2b models from '70 to '79, it belongs on the right side of your brake system. Without it, your brakes will clog up faster and their performance will deteriorate. Combine this with the left side to complete your brake maintenance.
