This brake pressure switch ensures your brake lights come on as soon as you press the brake pedal - and works directly on the two contact points that close the circuit. The original BBT switch with part number 113 945 515H fits all early VWs and is much stronger than the flimsy reproductions you find elsewhere. A simple part - but crucial for your lighting and thus for safety and inspection. Combine this with a new brake line kit if you're already working on it.
