This brake caliper is suitable for the classic drum and disc brakes on your Type 1 - Type 3 - and Karmann Ghia - and they replace them one-to-one if your original has worn out or become leaky. They are available for both left and right - so you can order them as a pair for a complete brake overhaul. Combine this part with new brake hoses and brake pads for complete brake maintenance.
