This adjusting cog ensures that your brake shoes remain properly positioned during braking. The cog fits into the brake drum and works together with the brake shoe adjusting rod to automatically provide the correct clearance. OEM number 113 609 205A fits T1 - T2a - T2b - Type 3 - Karmann Ghia - Type 181 - and Type 4. Combine this with a new set of brake shoes and a brake shoe adjusting rod for a complete brake service.
