This adjusting screw ensures that your brake shoes always remain properly adjusted to the drum. With OEM number 211 609 209 - this part fits T1 - T2a - T2b - Karmann Ghia and Type 181. Without regular adjustments - your shoes will wear unevenly and your braking distance will increase. Combine this with a set of new brake shoes and brake drums for a complete restoration of your braking system.
