The cylinder head of your Beetle - T1 - or T2 won't last forever. After years of starting and tuning - the spark plug boreholes wear out - causing the spark plug to no longer fit properly and leading to ignition problems. With these thread inserts - you can restore the original thread without disassembling your cylinder head; you simply unscrew the old thread and screw in the new one. Combine these inserts with a complete spark plug set and your ignition will be perfectly in order again.
