These heating pipes are located under the rear seat and ensure that your passengers also receive heat there when the heating is on. They are usually very susceptible to rust and perforation - so if you have no heat in the back or smell something musty around these pipes - they are probably worn out. You get a two-piece set here (OEM 111 255 437 x2) that fits your T1 exactly. Combine this with a new thermostat so that your heating functions optimally again.
