This heater hose transports hot water from the engine to the heating system on the chassis, mounted on the left side. On many VW engines, this hose is under pressure and can harden or crack after decades, leading to leaks and poor heating. The replacement part is labeled 113 255 355M and fits T1, T2a, T2b, Karmann Ghia and Type 181. Please combine this with the heat exchanger seal ring and heater hoses on the right side for a complete heating system.
