This black cardboard heating hose (OEM 211 255 359) connects the air filter to the heat exchanger and is essential for a properly functioning heating system in your T1 - T2 or Karmann Ghia. The cardboard provides insulation and keeps the warm air where it belongs. After decades - these hoses can become porous or collapsed - leading to heat loss and potentially inhaled impurities. Combine this with a new heat exchanger and fresh heating cables for a completely restored heating system.
