This gasket seals the connection between your exhaust pipe and the exhaust muffler and prevents gases from escaping. For T2a - T2b - and T3 - this OEM number 025 251 235 is the correct part. If your exhaust rattles or you smell exhaust fumes at the connection - this gasket is likely worn and needs to be replaced. Combine this with a new exhaust pipe or inner pipe if you're already working on it.
