The right heat exchanger (OEM 029 256 092C) is the casing in which coolant flows through narrow channels to transfer heat to the air blowing past it. In a T2b, it is located on the right side of the engine and works in conjunction with the left side for optimal cooling. After decades, these exchangers can become clogged or develop leaks due to corrosion, directly impacting your engine temperature. Combine this with the left heat exchanger and check your thermostat valve for a complete cooling system.
