This rubber seal sits between the heater box and the flexible heater hose that runs to the body, preventing you from losing hot air where you don't want it. After decades, these rubbers can become hard and porous, leading to leaks and reduced heating capacity. We have them in stock for T1, T2a, T2b, Type 3, Karmann Ghia and Type 181 (OEM 111 819 945). Combine this with a new heater hose while you're at it.
