This heater flap controls the heat flow from the engine to your interior heater on the left side. For T2a and T2b - this part (OEM 021 256 205K) is essential for a working heater - especially if you notice that one side gets less warm than the other. It's a direct replacement with no modifications needed. Combine this flap with the right-hand variant and a new heater hose kit for a complete overhaul of your heating system.
