The pre-heat tubes of your Beetle or Bus lose a lot of heat without insulation - especially on cold days. This original insulation kit with OEM numbers 113 119 597 and 113 119 599 wraps around the heat risers - keeping the pre-heat air warmer for longer - which brings your carburetor up to temperature faster and reduces cold start problems. While you're at it - replace this with a new thermostat.
