If you want to disable your engine's preheating system — for example, because you've installed an aftermarket intake manifold or simply no longer need the original heat exchange — these block-off plates are the cleanest solution. They neatly seal off the preheating system's openings, so you don't have unsightly holes in your engine block. Suitable for T1, T2a, T2b, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181. Combine this with a new intake manifold for a complete makeover of your intake side.
