This front brake cable is the original version for your Beetle and T1 - based on OEM number 111 605 701. The standard length and attachment fit perfectly on the classic mechanical braking system of the early years. Replace this cable preventatively if you feel the braking action becoming stiff or if you are already working on your brakes. Combine this with a new brake drum kit to get your brakes fully up to date.
