This outer sheath for the accelerator cable (OEM 113 721 551) sits between the chassis and the engine and ensures your accelerator cable runs smoothly without snagging. In T1s and Karmann Ghias - this is a wear part that can fray or tear after years - which is immediately noticeable by a stiffening throttle response. VintageDub supplies the original type here - so no size issues during assembly. Combine this with a new accelerator cable itself for a complete and properly functioning accelerator system.
