VW T1 | Engine Lid Hinge Bracket Inner Panel | 211 813 217
BBT Silver Weld bodywork. This reinforcement plate sits behind the engine lid and supports the hinges to which the lid is attached. It prevents the aluminum of the engine lid from stretching with intensive use, which is especially important for older models. Installation is simple: loosen the hinges briefly, slide the bracket behind them, and re-tighten everything. Combine this with new lid hinges and fresh bolts for a complete restoration of the engine lid system.
