This inner lower fender on the left side is the part that you are likely to see rust first if moisture collects behind the rear wheel well. This concerns the lower part of the inside of the rear fender, where the welds are under great tension. For a T1, this part is difficult to assemble yourself, so a solid original or good reproduction is worthwhile. Combine this with the corresponding right side and you have the entire rear fender side under control.
