This grommet is located where your tailgate cable passes through the plastic housing. After decades - the rubber hardens and cracks - allowing water and dirt to creep in. The OEM number 321 971 840 guarantees that you get exactly the same quality as in the factory T3. A small replacement that prevents big problems. Combine this with a new tailgate latch and you're all set.
