This drain rubber is located centrally under the chassis at the rear and ensures that water does not enter the car. Over time - rubber becomes brittle and cracks - allowing water to find its way in anyway. Replacement part 111 701 309 is relatively easy to replace yourself and a good insurance against rust and wet feet. Combine this with the other drain rubbers in series for a complete watertight drainage.
