Rubber seal between the tail light lens and the tail light housing for the VW Beetle 08/1955–07/1961, OEM number 111 945 235. The seal keeps moisture and dirt out of the light housing and hardens after years of UV exposure. Replacement is usual when removing the tail light or when corrosion is visible inside.
