This rubber seal sits under the front sunroof mechanism and prevents water and dust from getting between the roof and the housing. On an old Beetle with a sunroof - this rubber seal dries out and curls up after years - causing you to find water on your headliner. VW part number 117 877 415 is the replacement part for T1 Beetles. Combine this with the rear sunroof seal for a completely repaired roof system.
