This rubber seal ensures that your sliding roof remains watertight and prevents wind or rain noises while driving. It's a wear-and-tear part that becomes hard and brittle after years of sun exposure and temperature changes - leading to leaks. When replacing - it's important to do both sides at once to ensure a complete seal. Combine this with some silicone spray to keep the mechanism working smoothly.
