This rubber version of the heating cable is located behind the driver's and front passenger's feet, crucial for defrosting the windshield in the winter months. The replacement part (111 711 691) was standard on T1, Type 3 and Karmann Ghia and ensures that warm air flows directly along the inside of the glass. If you have replaced cables or the original cover is cracked, this is the correct replacement part. Combine this with new heating hoses and connectors for a complete upgrade.
