This rubber seal keeps dust and moisture out of your lock cylinder when the ignition key is removed. A simple part found on many classic VWs - including the T1 - that has simply deteriorated over the decades. VintageDub supplies you with the OEM number 211 841 639 - so you won't be stuck with an inferior substitute. Combine this with a new lock cover itself for a completely neat result.
