This rubber seal sits under the engine lid lock on your T1 and prevents oil from leaking past the lid. Over the years, the rubber becomes hard and wrinkled, leading to leaks. The OEM number 111 827 517A is no longer in production, but this replacement does exactly the same job. Combine this part with a new engine lid lock and the necessary bolts for a complete overhaul.
