This rubber ring (OEM 111 813 705A) keeps your engine block in place and prevents vibrations from spreading through the chassis. After decades, the rubber can become hardened and cracked, which becomes noticeable in extra vibrations and wear on other parts. Replace it along with the other engine mounts for the best result.
