VW Beetle | Clamp profile rubber front lid
This rubber clamp profile sits in the groove of your front boot lid and ensures that the bonnet fits neatly against the bodywork. After fifty years, this profile usually sags and tears apart, so a new one is really welcome during restoration. The profile is located on both sides of the lid and partly determines how tightly your entire bonnet closes. Combine this with a new spring latch and your bonnet will look as it should again.
