This rubber buffer is located at the bottom right, between your front axle and the head chassis, where the wheel absorbs forces. In Type 3s, these rubbers wear out after years, and vibrations are transferred directly to the frame, which can be felt in the steering wheel and bodywork. The original 311 705 264 is the solution for stiff and rattling driving comfort. Combine this with the left side for a complete restoration of your suspension damping.
