These rubber bushings are located between the rear axle and the body and prevent vibrations from the axle from transferring directly to your chassis. After decades, they become hard and brittle, resulting in rattles and a bumpy suspension feel. This set of two bushings (OEM 111 799 127) fits the T1, Karmann Ghia, and Type 181 and makes your rear end pleasantly quiet again. Combine this with new shock absorbers for complete suspension comfort.
