These rubbers are located between the bodywork and the chassis and dampen vibrations and noises. In an old Beetle or Ghia, they are usually hardened or perished, resulting in rattling and a harsh ride. They are small parts with a big effect: they cost little but significantly improve comfort. Combine this with new engine mount rubbers for the complete picture.
